The digital host for weddings and private events

VivatAn app that keeps the evening to its programme.

Guests open it with the code from their place card. It shows what is on now and what comes next, reminds everyone before each moment, runs guest bingo and gathers the photos. It never asks for the microphone.

The first five codes are free.

How it works

Three steps, then the evening

  1. Create the event and the guest list

Name, date, venue and programme in the web cabinet. Guests go in as a pasted list, a CSV file or one by one, each with a role: guest, crew or co-host.

  2. Print the cards

Every guest gets a card with a name, a QR code and an eight-character code. Place cards or A4 sheets, straight from the browser.

  3. Guests come in by code

The QR opens the app if it is installed and the web version if it is not, with the code already filled in. No sign-up, no password.

What it does

One app for the whole evening

  • Home: before, during and after

Before the day: a countdown, the dress code as a palette, where to meet and what to know about parking and gifts. During the evening: what is on now and what comes next, updated the moment the programme moves. Afterwards: a thank-you, the game results and the gallery.

  • Programme and run-of-show

Guests see the public programme. The DJ, the photographer and the host see the run-of-show with the service items, their own highlighted. When the evening runs twenty minutes late, the rest of it moves in one tap, reminders included.

  • Reminders with a sound and an audience

Before any item, a notification with your text, one of five sounds and the people it is meant for: everyone, guests only, the crew, the DJ or a few names. The guests make it to the first dance; the DJ makes it to the cake.

The main act

Guest bingo

Before the day, every guest writes a few facts about themselves. At the party each player gets a card of other people's facts and goes looking for their owners. Points for accuracy, then for speed. By dessert the two families have been introduced.

  • Cards are dealt automatically: no own facts, no two facts from one author.
  • The organiser can correct or hide a fact before it reaches a card.
  • Winners are announced in the app. The prize is handed over in person.
  • Shared gallery

Guests upload from their phones, the photographer uploads originals. The organiser hides what should not be there and downloads everything as one ZIP archive. The album is kept for 90 days after the event.

Questions

Asked before the toasts

Do guests have to install an app?

No. The QR on the card opens the web version in the browser; the App Store and Google Play apps are there for those who want them. On an iPhone, reminders in the web version arrive once it is added to the Home Screen, and the app explains how.

What about Huawei and phones without Google services?

The web version works on them. Push notifications may not arrive, so the same reminders appear on screen while the app is open. To pay for an event, the organiser needs an iPhone or an Android phone with Google Play.

What do you store, and for how long?

Participant names, device tokens for notifications, bingo facts and photos. All of it is deleted 90 days after the event, and the organiser is reminded beforehand. Guests can delete their own photos and facts at any time.

Read the privacy policy
Which languages does it speak?

The app speaks English, Russian, Serbian (Latin) and Romanian, and each guest picks one. The organiser cabinet is in English and Russian. The programme, facts and reminders are shown as the organiser wrote them, without translation.

And if everything runs late?

It usually does. The console shifts the rest of the programme by any number of minutes, and the unsent reminders move with it.

What if a card ends up in the wrong hands?

Reissue the code in the cabinet. The old one stops working at once, together with every session opened with it.
